Really, I don’t think that I can put into words just how much I loved this book and why because everything about it just gelled- all the tiny bits and pieces complimented each other to create 140 pages of reading perfection. I felt anxious when Silas felt anxious and confused when Charlie did- as though I could relate to what they were going through and additionally, the dual point of views helped me to relate to each character individually. The story itself took me on a bit of a roller coaster, particularly the last couple of chapters where I found the characters’ sense of urgency channeled through me. I cannot wait for the next book, I even have a reminder on my phone for May 17th, that’s how much I’m anticipating it. They leave me lying in bed with the tattered pieces of my soul and heart lying next to me. I mean, while I guess this book might not be technically classed as a cliffhanger by some, let me tell you that it leaves you with more questions than it does answers.

Let me just say that I hate to love cliffhanger novels. Ms Hoover is one of my favourite authors on this planet and I have heard nothing but amazing reviews for Ms Fisher’s other pieces. Once I made the decision to read Never Never I wasn’t even remotely surprised that I loved it so much. Starting this mysterious novel was one of the best things I have done this year so far, it was physically impossible for me to put this book down. I cannot explain just how much I loved this novel and I also cannot explain too much about this novel as it would ruin the entire reading experience! Even though, admittedly, I was slightly wary about starting a book with five sentences acting as the blurb and so many aspects it couldn’t be placed in a genre, I am so darn thankful I did. The novel is written in dual point of views with Colleen Hoover writing as the male lead, Silas and Tarryn Fisher the female lead, Charlie.
